Oldies 100.9 news presents the Vanderlaan Building Excellent Educators Day, profiling outstanding leaders in our community.
Elise Stoter is a teacher for autism support for the Kawartha Pine Ridge District School Board.
She says her inspiration to become an educator came from her mom, Patricia Perkin, who was a teacher in the community. Her mom always said Stoter would also be a great teacher. Stoter tried to take a different path but a tutoring job changed that.
