After a two-year hiatus, ‘Float Your Fanny Down the Ganny’ returned to Port Hope over the weekend.
This year marked the 40th race in the history of the signature celebration.
Event Co-Chair Barrileigh Price was thrilled with how the day went.
Price’s co-chair partner, Barry “The Bear” Adamson, echoed that sentiment, noting the crowd’s excitement.
Price remarked they had over 100 crazy crafts, canoes, and kayaks in this year’s event alongside a huge crowd of spectators.
Leanne Clarke was one of the brave souls floating down the Ganny, with her husband Dave.
Clarke said the event was a great experience even though she wasn’t sure what to expect.
Float Your Fanny Down the Ganny results are expected soon.
