Brighton Councillor Ron Anderson has announced he’ll be running for the spot of Deputy Mayor.
He said he wants to thank the residents, friends and family for their tremendous support the last four years and he looks forward to serving them again.
The seat is currently held by Laura Vink.
The next municipal election will be held on October 24.
