The Road to Cultivate Concert Series has taken over a 30 year tradition of free concerts in Memorial Park in Port Hope every Thursday between 6pm and 8pm.
The series features local food, arts and crafts, weekly raffles for Cultivate Festival weekend passes and some surprises along the way.
Executive Director Jeff Bray, told us about taking the reins of a 30 year tradition.
Jeff told us that the Road to Cultivate offers something for every taste.
According to Jeff, they’ve got some great entertainers coming in August.
Artists this month include Amanda Rheaume and AHI on the 4th, Alyson McNamara and The Slocan Ramblers on the 11th, Nikola Magnolia and Caroline Marie Brooks on the 18th and Melissa Payne and Ted Staunton and Friends on the 25th.
Cultivate is about creating a welcoming experience for folks from all walks of life. We asked Jeff to describe his ideal concert goers.
