An inmate at the Warkworth Institution has died in custody.
On August 26 Clifford Gale, died following an illness.
According to Today’s Northumberland, at the time of his death, Gale had been serving a sentence for second degree murder, which commenced on October 27, 2010.
The coroner has been notified of the death, as Correctional Service of Canada (CSC) policy requires in all cases involving the death of an inmate.
