Hidden gem Haute Goat Farms can trace its start back to 2015 when owner and head goat herder Debbie Nightingale moved to the farm and adopted 4 goats.
She said the goat’s popularity among family members gave them the idea to start a business involving the goats, and that started them on the path to where they are today.
Anyone who is particularly fond of goats and other farm animals may have heard of the farm, but for anyone not familiar there’s plenty of things to do at Haute Goat.
The main attraction is the shmurgles, a walk around the property with the goats unleashed and loose next to you. Nightingale said the goats love to both get and receive cuddles, so you can snuggle up with the goats if you’d like.
In addition, there are also holiday themed shmurgles as well as a cafe, disc golf course, and other farm animals like alpacas.
Nightingale said she is constantly surprised by how intuitive the goats are, and that they will be able to pick out who in the area needs some extra attention.
So whether you are a goat fanatic or are wondering what all the fuss is about the little horned animals, you can visit the goats and find out for yourself at Haute Goat Farms.
