Looking for something to do during the winter months? Check out what’s going on at the Cobourg Public Library
For many the library is an indispensable source for book, but many people don’t realize all of the other great things going on.
Book Clubs, Arts and crafts, The Seed Library, Discovery backpacks, Borrow and Build Lego sets, Movie Nights, and Baby Time are just a few.
Youth Services Coordinator Rachel Purdy told us a bit about a special Family Storytime coming up.
Rachel told us about a special time dedicated to Babies.
We asked Purdy about where program ideas come.
January is Family Literacy Month at the Library and Rachel told us they have a contest you can enter.
You can enter to win a family prize pack the deadline is January 29th at 5 pm.
STEAM Storytime will be taking place at the Venture 13 building on January 29th at 10 am. Rachel told us more about STEAM.
With high school students getting ready for exams at the end of the month, Purdy told us they have something sweet planned.
And finally, if you ever wanted to learn to play an instrument, Rachel says they’ve got you covered, with not only written instructional material, but instruments too!
