Meghan Fox, owner of The Tin Roof Ice Creamery and the Quick Brown Fox in Brighton, is the new President of the Brighton Cramahe Chamber of Commerce.
She said her first goal is to get things organized after having to adopt to the pandemic.
The Brighton Cramahe Chamber of Commerce is a nonprofit, membership-supported organization. They strive to facilitate the advancement of commerce, tourism and community interests in the Municipality of Brighton, Township of Cramahe and surrounding areas.
Fox said there’s been a lot of personnel changes recently.
Fox replaces former Brighton Cramahe Chamber of Commerce President Bobbi Wright. Wright, the owner of The Birdhouse Nature Store, stepped away from the Chamber in 2022 to run for a seat on council. She was successful and is currently a Councilor for the Municipality of Brighton.
Fox has been in Brighton for 5 years, starting with the Quick Brown Fox, and she continues to operate this business, doing art lessons that she plans on expanding. She also opened The Tin Roof Ice Creamery, 3 years ago.
She said she’s going to do her best to bring Brighton businesses together.
“We will be pushing forward services that benefit our members and also operate some initiatives that benefit the community as a whole. We recently had a table at the recent career fair and operate a tourist booth at the gates of Presqu’ile.”

In her two year term, Meghan hopes to add value to services for chamber members, to have a stronger voice within the municipalities and to boost year-round customer engagement for their member businesses and the communities as a whole.
