The busy offseason for the Golden Hawks continues.
Interim General Manager Todd Reid announced late last week the team traded Eric Bonsteel to Oakville. Bonsteel, who was acquired from the Toronto Patriots, notched 31 points in his time in Trenton.
Reid wasn’t done there, as the Hawks acquired Kyloe Ellis. The 18-year-old defenceman is coming from the Greater Sudbury Cubs of the NOJHL.
Ellis had 43 points in the regular season last year, and another six in the playoffs.
Ellis was traded for a Player Development Fee.
