Northumberland Hills Hospital welcomed it’s first baby of the year.
Yesterday, parents Vanessa and Jake Morris of Bownmanville welcomed baby Georgina Elizabeth.
“Georgia Elizabeth Morris is named after my grandfather, George,” said Vanessa. “She’s so calm and relaxed. We’re very much in love with her, it’s just wonderful.”
As per tradition, Georgia will also be the first New Year baby to go home from NHH with a gift basket prepared and donated by the staff of the hospital.
The Maternal/Child Care team at NHH welcomed 537 births at the hospital in the last fiscal year
