The family business rooted in Baltimore, stepped up its support for the NHH Foundation this year with its largest donation yet.
“Finlay Construction and the Finlay family have been long-time supporters of our hospital,” shares Rhonda Cunningham, NHH Foundation CEO. “When we have asked for their help, they have answered – they gave a leadership level gift towards the building of NHH, have made numerous donations and been business partners over the years since, and when we came to them with our current campaign, they stepped up to offer their support once again. We are very grateful.”
Founded in 1951 by Gerald Finlay, the company has evolved under the guidance of his children, boosting a workforce of around 25 employees.
“We hope our contribution will help NHH get the equipment it needs to continue to care for our community and to attract healthcare workers to the hospital,” shares George Finlay. “Having a well-equipped local hospital is important to us and beneficial for everyone – including our families, friends, and employees.”
The Finlays, acknowledging the community’s role in their success, prioritize giving back. Their contribution to the $25 million campaign reflects a shared commitment to community well-being and healthcare excellence.
