This Saturday, June 8, you can enjoy a day with the family, while helping our four legged friends. Admission is free (suggested food bank donation of pet or human food is appreciated). There will be lots to do including great activities like face painting, a local celebrity dunk tank, bouncy castle, vendors market, pet business trade booths, and much more!
Northumberland Humane Society Executive Director Henny Venus tells us what you can expect of the 2nd Annual Bow Wow Fair.
…and more! Venus says you can also grab a bite to eat at their barbeque and they’ll have vegetarian options available as well.
According to Venus, it will be a great day at the CCC with all proceeds going to help out our furry friends.
So if you’d like to make a difference for stray and abandoned animals in Northumberland, make plans to drop in at the Bow Wow Fair.
Essentially it’s an outreach event, according to Venus.
Venus says you can help out by attending on Saturday from 10 am to 3 pm and they’re always looking for volunteers as well at both the shelter and the thrift store.
