Based in Port Hope, Revolver Screening Systems is a North American manufacturer that is happy to call Northumberland County home.
The company was founded nearly ten years ago by Frank Thompson and his business partner to answer a need they saw in the industry for locally made screening systems that had until then been manufactured overseas. They saw it as an opportunity to create portable trommel screening plants specifically for the North American market that met the heavy-duty standards demanded by contractors.
With dealers across Canada and the United States, their equipment is a shining example of materials recycling, offering users the ability to screen out unwanted materials like large rocks, foliage and other materials to produce aggregates like top soil on-site from materials on hand, diverting waste from land fills and saving contractors both time and money on job sites.
Designed with insights from nearly a decade of industry experience, their popular RT508 is a great example of their line that offers a selection of plants with high production rates and minimal operating costs. The RT508’s standout features include a 5-foot diameter reversible drum, the largest in its class, and a 36-inch variable speed feeder. These features, paired with powerful Kubota or Caterpillar diesel engines, allow it to process 70 to 125 cubic yards per hour efficiently.
