Small Business Week is underway in Ontario. Locally, the Business and Entrepreneurship Centre Northumberland does its part to help business owners thrive.
Supported by Northumberland County’s economic development department and the Ontario government, business development co-ordinator Kailyn Coupland says BECN is one of 54 small business centres in the province.
Year-round BECN offers more than 20 workshops and seminars to support hundreds of new entrepreneurs. During Small Business Week, Coupland tells us the organization will launch one of its Starter Company small business grant programs.
The program offers individual grants of up to $3,500.
Coupland says BECN is with it’s clients from the beginning.
Beyond the planning process, Coupland says BECN offers the Faster Forward Business Success program.
All programs and services offered by Business and Entrepreneurship Centre Northumberland aim to help business owners succeed.
