There are no injuries being reported after a tree came down on a school bus Thursday morning (Nov. 21) in Port Hope.
“This morning, a tree decided to test its strength against a passing school bus in the Municipality of Port Hope, Ont.,” wrote OPP on Facebook, on Thursday, adding the bus ended up winning out.
“The good news? Everyone on board – (the) kids and the driver – are perfectly fine.”
An OPP spokesperson said the tree just happened to fall as the bus was travelling in the Grist Mill Road area.
Police helped with traffic control as crews cleared the tree and debris and got the bus sent off for repairs.
Students caught another bus to class.
