OPP say there’s an increased police presence in the York Crescent Trenton area due to an ongoing investigation.
East Region OPP posted to X about the increased police presence on the morning of Tuesday, Jan. 21, 2025, saying this is due to an ongoing investigation. There was no information about what type of investigation was underway.
However, police said there is no threat to public safety.
The post also states no further details can be shared at this time.
When asked for more information, a Quinte West OPP spokesperson also said there was no further information that could be released as of mid-morning.
