Presqu’ile Provincial Park is closed following this weekend’s devastating ice storm.
Park officials say the closure is necessary as crews deal with downed electrical wires and tree cleanup.
“We will post updates as soon as we reopen,” the park posted on social Monday, March 31, 2025.
Damage from the storm is being reported across the municipality and prompted the declaration of a significant weather event Sunday at the municipal level.
Meanwhile, as of Monday, issues with hydro and internet outages continue to be reported.
