
A 47-year-old Quinte West resident is facing charges after the alleged seizure of about one ounce of fentanyl, say police.
The accused was arrested following an investigation by the East Region community street crime unit and with help from Quinte West OPP officers, reported OPP.
As a result of the investigation, police allege they seized about one ounce of fentanyl, cash and other items allegedly associated with drug-trafficking.
The accused is facing charges around trafficking and possession of proceeds of crime. None of these charges have been proven in court.
