It’s down to the final touches at Brighton Speedway in preparation for the start of the 2025 race season.
Nathan Rinaldi, son of track owner/operator Mark Rinaldi, says May 3 is opening weekend.
Saturday is also an opportunity for race fans to support the community.
Rinaldi says for the first time in as long as he can remember, Brighton Speedway will host the Empire Super-Sprints at end of May.
Rinaldi says five sprint car races are scheduled for this season, along with returning fan favourites.
Late in the season, Rinaldi says Labour Day will see a holiday weekend of race events followed by the Applefest Shootout on Sept. 26 and 27.
The last event of the season is October’s Eve of Destruction Demolition Derby.
