The Liberal Party of Canada, led by Mark Carney, has earned another mandate – although it is still unsure whether or not it will be a majority or minority government.
Carney, assumed office as Prime Minister on March 14th, taking over for Justin Trudeau who resigned after nine years in the role.
The former governor of the Bank of Canada, made a stop in nearby Peterborough over the Easter long-weekend as part of his re-election campaign.
